Amanda is super unprofessional, especially over email.
She replied and she's right, it isn't the whole story, but it's the truth. Her claim is not the truth, and I have the emails to prove it.
Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. Maintenance issues are resolved quickly.

Still waiting for repairs to be made the house they moved us into is an obvious safety hazard
My grandmother and I have lived at one of their apartments for 16 years. My husband and one year old son now live with us. We told them we'd have rent caught up on June 3rd, but they still decided to evict us. We now have to leave by the 21st and have nowhere to go.
David was very easy to deal with. When the property wasn't ready by the date he promised, he gave us money off of our rent and even did some of the repairs and floor installation himself. Unfortunately, my family's financial situation became very bad since my husband is very sick and missed a lot of work. David worked with us a lot and even recommended and worked with the CPC for rental help. The only issue I had was that there were a few repairs that need done, namely a leak in the roof that flooded the upstairs bedroom and went into the kitchen and the repairman that was sent only did a quick "band-aid" fix and it was never repaired correctly. So we had to rearrange the bedroom so nothing would be ruined. Otherwise, I would recommend them. The amount they ask for rent is very reasonable. Now we only ever looked at one property and that was because it was next door to the one we moved from so the homeowner could move back in. But when looking at other properties online, they are much better and more fair than most I've seen. When we had to move due to our financial situation, David was very nice and emphatic and treated me as a person, unlike anyone I dealt with at York Property Management. I never dealt with Amanda so I cannot attest to her professionalism.
