Great access to the trail here one of my favorite spots to park in order to get to the rail trail
It's my go to spot for running and cycling...love it there. Ample parking, restrooms...perfext training spot...
This is a excellent area to park if you are going out on the Heritage Rail Trail for a couple of miles on foot or biking. The parking lot is newer and well paved with clear signage to the trail, covered picnic tables, and directly next to a very nice local township park (Stump Park). There is a water fountain across the street next to the trail. The area is very scenic and serene. If you head south bound on the trail it is only 2 miles to the Howard Tunnel.
Great parking spot for rail trail. Right at mile marker 17 on the rail trail. Porta potty and a water fountain (for drinking, filling up bottles and also a pet fountain). Well done!
Nice place to walk, bike, jog, run. A scenic trail to enjoy.
