Expensive selection. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Busy. Good location.
I was struggling with finding a book for my English class. So, in my state of consternation, I floated towards the front desk to ask where in the store a particular author’s novels could be found. I was greeted with absurdly dramatic shouting; I was being reprimanded for walking into the checkout zone. This older worker verbally forced me to into going to the end of the line (even though there was only one other person in line and two unoccupied cashiers) with intense attitude even though I explained that I just wanted to be directed. She felt no remorse for her actions as I displayed a downcast countenance towards her. I was finally directed by a much nicer gentleman (hence the +1 star) that helped me find Capote’s thrilling novel.
Great place. My husband is a big reader, so generally he gets something from here every year for Christmas and or Birthday. It's a very clean store and I like that there's plenty of cash registers when you check out.
Expansive selection of new releases and classics. The staff is helpful and familiar with contemporary authors. Great spot for unique gifts for people that are hard to buy for. The store is flanked by a huge Big Lots and a sandwich shop, with additional shopping within a mile or 2 radius.
I wish they had a customer service area where I could go to if I needed help with finding a book, instead of having to wait in the checkout line despite not needing to checkout.
Very nice store, friendly staff. Good selection of books and movies. Went for Funko Pops, and they had a decent selection of those. Not disappointed!
